Hi there. Yes, I would tell them to stop if you are experiencing so much pain and if they are going to do a hysteroscopy, ask them for some kind of numbing medicine. Usually, my doctor would do local anaesthesia to numb the area (no pain just pressure). Also, I take extra strength tylenol an hour before the exams (or any type of painkillers).
Wish you the best! If anything, you can tell them to stop or ask to take a break.
Thank you so much for your message . I will ask them to stop and also ask for local anaesthesia. Am I wired to be in a panic is there anything I can do to not think of pain?? So sore before that's the problem.
Ask your GP to prescribe pain medication, ask for Kapake which is better quality cocodamol, & a hefty dose of diazepam. Get someone else to take you to the appointment so that’s one less stress. Take the diazepam before you leave home, & the cocodamol with a hot drink about 30 minutes before your appointment.
If you’re that concerned, request they carry out the procedure under a general anaesthetic.
