Has anyone taken metronidazole vaginal gel for bv? I'm finished with the medication and I am happy i feel muchhhh better down there but when can I have intercourse again and when will all the gel come out?? Today makes day 3 Of completion so I can finally have my wine!!!! Yayyy but when is it okay to have sex?

🤔 There is info online re Metronidazole Gel, all I could find was ‘do not have sex while using the prescription’...so best to ask your GP.

Yeahh Ive been online reading all about it but Ive finished my prescribed course and Its been alittle over 72 hours I finished on the 4th and We have a patient portal where my doctor and I can communicate but No answer yet

Hi! Have been searching endlessly for this answer.....how many days after treatment did it take for all the gel to clear out? The discharge caused by the gel is ~nasty~ and would hate for that to show up during a steamy evening. Thanks!
