Sores on my leg

Hi little sores have been coming up on my leg I have around 10 if I pick them they make a mark can it be a STI.

🤔 I wonder if these can be linked to the Mirena coil. Technically they aren’t acne, but it’s possible they could be a reaction. Speak to the person who inserted the coil.

Can it cause acne?

It probably can.

A 2008 reviewTrusted Source looked at the safety and side effects of the Mirena IUD. It found that you were more likely to have acne (or have worse acne) after getting an IUD containing Mirena’s main ingredient levonorgestrel.
