New on Ibrance and letrozole

I took my 1st dose yesterday. I’d like to know what you’ve found to be most important on this journey. I walk a mile or 2 every day and eat a healthy diet. What month do you start feeling the meds?

When do you start seeing results? My breast cancer has spread to lesions on my back. I’ll have CT scan in 3 months. Can you live a somewhat normal life?

Thanks

Wishing you well as you commence with the Ibrance / Letrozole combo ! You will find lots of lovely ladies on here who can offer advice , so do feel free to ask any questions !

I have been doing well on it for 23 cycles ( for bone mets ) and my main tips to someone new would be to drink lots of water ...and as you already do, keep getting out for a daily walk and eating a fairly balanced diet , but not stressing about diet ! I found the first 4 months the most difficult , but now , apart from having to pace myself in weeks 3/4 , it’s become my new ‘normal ‘ ! In terms of how soon you could expect to see any results, usually about 6 months to see changes to bone mets. Take care x
