Vagina Issues

Hi all.

This isn't something I have spoken about on here. I noticed a small lump ( spot sort of lump ) on the outside of my vagina. It hasn't got any pus and it isn't overly sore. I have tried to squeeze it but it just hurts and it is like a silver/grey blister bubble thing.

I have tried cream, lavender oil, sandalwood oil and baby powder and although it has got a bit smaller - it bothers me.

Can anyone help me out?

I experienced this once and did go to doctors to be tested and it wasn’t any thing sexual transmitted! It was from shaving and the oils of my razor. I was told to change razors every 2 days if I was shaving down there. Sorry if this doesn’t help x

I had one similar to that in the same sort of place. Went to my doc and she said it's kind of a fatty lump under the skin from the oils we produce sometimes getting stuck in a pore but not becoming infected (so not spot like), which either grows itself out or it can be cut a little and just falls out like a little bead.

I went to the gp to have them look at mine and she used a kind of needle / tiny blade to make a hole then it sort of just rolled out. sorry if tmi.

Could it be a Bartholin's cyst maybe? I think this might be what farahziya is describing. nhs.uk/conditions/bartholin...

It may be worth going to the GP though to get it checked over for peace of mind - good luck.

I also had this once and it was an ingrowing hair. Caused by shaving so I just stopped shaving as I also had a couple developed under my arms. They can get quite painful. See your GP they will advice you. Good luck.
