TMI- Yellow Nipple ‘Crust’??!!

I’m 16 and for as long as I can remember have had some form of yellow ‘crust’ in my nipple. I’m not sexually active and I don’t have any lumps or anything but I just wanted some reassurance that this is normal?! Is this just me? It kind looks like yellow dried colostrum.

Ask your GP to check your prolactin & other hormone levels. It could be galactorrhea caused by a pituitary tumour. patient.info/doctor/galacto..., though there are other hormones involved.

Don't panic, you'd have other symptoms if you have a large pituitary tumour, though best to get checked out, just in case. If your prolactin is high, or other hormones irregular, you may need an MRI scan to double check.

If you feel more comfortable with you gynecologist, you can also speak with them. Like Badhare said, no need to panic, but this is something that should be discussed with a medical doctor and a parent.
