In a couple of weeks I will be 63. My last ob/gyn told me she will no longer see me, that she was no longer taking my insurance. I could not find another ob/gyn for hrt replacement, so found an endocrinologist that said he would do them. I could not see him this week, but his NP instead. 43 years ago I had a total hysterectomy, so no ovaries to help. My question is - even at my age, and already on BHRT, do I have to have my estrad in the post-menopausal range? See my result was 23. Post menopause lab range stated <=31. I had to do some major convincing to let her raise my estradiol some. When it gets so low, I have constant UTI's, yeast infections, asthma increase, use more eye drops, loads of more physical complications than just hot flashes!! For some reason, I just cannot find in-depth information on where actual female ranges should be online.

I'm not sure if I understand your question.
If you're on replacement your estrogen levels will be higher than lab menopause levels. And no, they shouldn't and won't be below the range.
Purpose of HRT is to replace your missing naturally occurring sex hormones and mimic levels of non menopausal woman.
Usually women take from 1-2 mg estrogen per day. Some older women are given 0'5 mg only to protect the bones if they tolerate those levels well.
Some women have 3 or 4 mg estrogen a day if they have other symptoms.
