Had a realy bad week, just seems as if someone else takes over. Couldnt stop eating and have put two pound back on. Now I feel wats the point might just as well throw in the towel and eat till I drop.

Me too! Sweet stuff has been a real nemesis this week. I weigh in on a Friday and even today has been bad with regards to sweet stuff.
However tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to promise to be good so I can have a treat over Easter...only two weeks to go.

Look, just stop being so negative about it, will you? You're only something like two weeks in, if I remember rightly.
It works like this. When you were gaining weight - whether you realised it or not - your body was making changes to the way it worked.
In particular, the hormones associated with feelings of hunger and feeling full (and some others too) were affected by those changes. Overweight people tend to feel hungrier than they really are and tend to be slower to feel they have had enough food. That's one of the reasons that overweight people tend to keep getting more and more overweight. Also overweight bodies tend to store fat rather than burn it.
Now that process of putting on weight and the changes your body made to adapt to that didn't happen overnight and reversing that process isn't going to happen overnight either.
But if you hold your nerve, your body - as it loses weight - will adapt back to being a normal weight person's body. Also if you add in some increased levels of activity / exercise, your fitness will improve too.
For sure, persuading an overweight body to go into fat burning mode does take a bit of effort.
However, even it you stick at the new ways of eating for a mere 12 or 13 weeks, not only will the new ways become your usual habit, so you will have psychologically adapted, but your body will physically change to adapt to your new regime. That might be as a normal weight person, or as a more near to normal weight person than you were.
Anyone's weight loss journey will have blips and spurts and plateau. As you travel along your journey you will become better at the weight loss thing and better at knowing what works best for you and your lifestyle.
Just keep riding the weight loss bus. You know you really do want to say good-bye to that extra weight and that you have some very good reasons for wanting to do that, too.
So, don't let monkey mind have you over on this. Tell him / her just to shut up and you take control of the situation. You know what you want and you know what your plan is. Don't be thrown off course by a difficult week.

I know your right, just feeling sorry for my self. I was with my daughter and grandchildren yesterday and couldnt do half of what I would have liked to do because of my size. Most people would think this would make me more determend but I always turn to food. I will check out your sugestions.

Look, let me try to put it this way.
We all have 'bad hair days' and even sometimes weeks. (There have been times when I've thought I was having a bad hair lifetime!)
We all have times we feel a bit bashed up - at work, or in the family situation, or just in life in general.
And that's fine.
But the link that you probably need to break, is that because I need comfort = I need sweet and/or fatty food.
Needing comfort does NOT actually equal needing to comfort-eat.
There are other sources of comfort. There are other ways to switch off to and allay those doubts fears and anxieties and to quieten down, for a while, all the noise and chaos of life. There are other ways to distract yourself from all those stresses and strains.
And, truth be told, when you consider the available ones, stuffing yourself with 'naughties' isn't a particularly good, helpful or healthy option.

Over the last year I have struggled and struggled at WW and overall lost 12lbs. For various reasons I find it really hard to lose weight, I sometimes think the leader wonders why I bother compared to all the members who lose that much in 3 months. I could have given up, but if I had I would currently weigh a whole lot more than I do now. Part of the process is changing habits, if you stick with it you will make progress. I have more energy, look better in my clothes, I still have a way to go, I still struggle but this time I am not going to give up.
