I did my Friday weigh-in, I've lost 3lbs....been out walking most days before my Daughter gets-up. The Wii is now set-up in the living room...Will start using that on Monday....I've taken-up knitting again....to take my mind of food....it's amazing how i've stopped feelin hungry now my fingers are busy....I have subscribe to a new weekly magazine called Knit and stitch...I'm hoping it will be a worth-while investment....Our Change 4 Life package has arrived this morning...looking forward browsing through that.

That's the key isn't it, making lifestyle changes. I don't know about you, but I've found it really hard since the children have flown the nest. I haven't know what to do with myself.
I've found NHS Choices, because along with my feelings of 'emptiness,and boredom' (because a family certainly takes up all your time), I have become very unfit and overweight. So I've taken up the NHS Couch to 5k in 9weeks program. And joined this site.
Here goes to my new busy and active life and the excitement of knowing what those changes will lead to...
I'm not really sure how to diet, I never have you see. But here's to learning...
So later on today, will weigh myself and hope my heart can take the shock and then I guess, just make small daily changes, less butter on my toast, no more sugary cereals and watch my fat and sugar intake.
I think small steps will work for me and increase as I see the successes.
Reading these posts are very motivating and I look forward to making friends where ever they may live....thanks to modern technology and a bit of effort.
