I think everyone here knows that it’s really tough to stay consistent, especially when life gets in the way, but the fact that you’ve made progress before shows you’re capable. Maybe try focusing on small, sustainable habit changes rather than changing everything at once and aiming for perfection. Progress, not perfection! You can do it 🙌
Hi L1nOz and welcome back. I believe we've all been in your situation at some point in our lives, I believe that the key to maintaining our weight loss is to find a way of life which is sustainable. There are other ways of exercise which doesn't involve the gym. Have a think and you'll find something that you actually enjoy doing.

Good luck 🍀
As I'm sure you know, going to the gym builds muscle, but doesn't really lose weight. Cardio exercise does burn calories, and having more muscle mass helps burn more calories, but that muscle-building exercise itself doesn't do much for weight loss. It's 90% down to diet.
I've struggled with constantly yo-yoing with my weight, I've found tracking my calories every day, and making that a habit, is the only way to consistently lose (or maintain) weight, until your new diet is a habit in itself which you can keep to without having to think about it too much.

The gut may not be due to fat but part of it may be due to inflammation caused by refined seed oils and refined carbs like white flour and sugar so to loose the gut avoid those at all costs. It may take months to clear seed oils and inflammation from the body.
Hi Dr Chris and Dr Xand Van Tulleken have got a really good podcast about exercise and motivation on BBC Sounds. If you can access that, it's well worth a listen
