Forum members have a variety of approaches and everyone will be happy to talk about what works for them. My tip would be to aim for something that's sustainable, a way of eating and living that you can see yourself still doing in 5, 10 years.
You'll find everything about the forum here healthunlocked.com/weight-l... Scroll through all the posts so you don't miss anything. The daily diary and weigh-in are good starting points, plus Fit is Fun, if you're looking to be more active.
We've found that active participation is the key to success so I hope we'll see you joining in around the forum
I find that the days when I visit the forum and engage, makes me more accountable to the group, and less likely to snack…
And when i do have that snacking urge - usually mid afternoon - I go for a couple of Brazil nuts and then the moment passes. A better choice than a packet of sweet biscuits
When you attempted - what worked / didn't . I can't see this as a diet as I can't eat nothing as I have a busy job and a social life . I have actually found a social life via group exercise . They encourage me plus I have to pay for it . If I can keep to 3 balanced meals per day , nothing to eat after 7pm and no snacks as a general lifestyle then I can manage but worst for me was the thought I was punishing myself but being able to buy clothes I want and able to keep up with those half my age has given me a boost . Keep it simple . Ban no food you like entirely but less and less often . Friends have paid a fortune for slimming clubs but keep rejoining .
