2 stone is a tough goal . Little by little . You will feel better after a 7lb loss then keep going . I am 63. I had bad knees before I started . Sluggish with hardly any confidence . I then lost 18kg and changed jobs , started to buy a few lovely clothes, had a quality haircut . It doesn't only change your shape - well what shape was round ?? Mentally and physically the new me is happier . We are moving to the coast soon . I doubt whether I would feel as happy wobbling round on the beach . You aren't starting crazy heavy either . Think Monday . This is a new job , a new venture .
Good morning. I notice that you have already made a good start by posting on the weigh in today. You may find it useful to make your goals a little less daunting. If, say, you were to focus on attaining your first badge (7lbs) then that would be something to celebrate. Thereafter, the next badge, and the next and so on. It doesn't seem like a hard slog that way. Good luck whichever way you decide to do it.
well I am 70 come july, have been on low carb diet for a couple years I started out at 328 lbs, lost about 281 so far. I foundered thru covid but back at it !!! 1 stone =14 lbs. low carb diet & exercise, but have to stay at it or it will come back on !!
