Hi everyone, not sure why but posting what I eat seems to encourage me even more.
Today for dinner I cooked a dinner which was under 500 calories, delicious and FILLING.
It was all cooked in the oven,
Use an oven proof dish and put foil on top.
Place 3 small raw chicken fillets, chopped up mushrooms, broccoli and pasatta sauce (aldi it’s only 50 calories for 1/4 jar) for this recipe I used maybe just under 1/4. Obviously add whatever veg you like.
Add any seasoning you like, I added garlic and parsley.
Let it cook 45 minutes and serve with sweet potato wedges, I also had an egg with mine.

I’m not sure, but I’m eating enough until I’m full and I have yoghurts between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner. I think I’ve had about 900/1000 calories today. I have 6 stone to lose so hopefuly with eating healthy and doing exercise it will happen.
I suggest you check out your calorie range at the NHS BMI calculator. It may seem odd but you will soon hit a block if you don't eat enough, and 1000 is not likely to be enough if you need to lose 6 stone. The best plan is to start high and reduce as you lose weight and your body needs less.
You're onto a winner as you obviously like food and cooking, and that's important. There's no need to be "starving" or eating "low-fat" and "diet" foods. Stick with your fresh ingredients but think about increasing your quantities.
I’m always full and eat enough I’ve just cut out foods that are very fatty. I used to eat lots of McDonald’s KFC Chinese etc. And now I’m eating healthy food and it feels great. I just eat a lot of veg now which even in large portions is low in calories.
Hope all goes well for you and you get involved with the forum, reading posts and joining a weigh-in (whichever day is best for you) and the Daily Diary
I most definitely will be, the weigh in is the issue I have as I feel the need to weigh myself too much. But I’m trying to do it once a week. Which will be next Monday 🤞for good results.
Never realised how important healthy food is until I found out im low in iron, folate and vitamin b, my energy levels were so low I decided it was time to fix it.
I look forward to my journey and being involved in this group supporting others and finding motivation from others.
