Hi I was wondering if anyone has used or is currently using a smart hula hoop to exercise with? If so please share pro’s and cons to this type of exercise 🙂

Hello Meatloaf22 and welcome back :)

I can't give you an answer about the smart hula hoop. Just go for whatever exercise you enjoy as that's what you're most likely to stick with, but don't rely on it for weight loss: for that, you'll need to have an eating plan that works for you.

You'll find all our forum activities, including the weigh in, daily diary and much more, by following this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... to Pinned Posts. Have a good look through everything on offer and then get involved as much as you can

Thank you, with the dark nights looming I think it may be a good activity to do , also keep warm with the coming heating crisis!

Hello Meatloaf22, a smart hula hoop, that is a new one on me. I haven't used a hulu hoop in at least 50 years and even the I couldn't get is to stay up 😂😂. It was fun trying though, I hope you have fun with whatever you decide to do. Take care xx

Hello Meatloaf22, you are so right, anything that gets us moving has got to be good, I have recently started a no falls class to help strengthen things so I don't fall over so easily. I have to do everything seated due to my hip but I still manage to exercise and have fun. Enjoy all you do. Take care xx

Hi Meatloaf22 , I have been using the smart hula hoop. It can be quite tricky to get the hang of but I can ‘feel the burn’ after a bit so feels like it’s doing something at least 😊

A friend has been doing a bit everyday for a month and has already seen some good inch loss on her waist. I’ve not been doing it that long so not seen much difference yet but found it’s quite good to just do in front of the tv, doesn’t need much thinking about

Hi Lorse that’s encouraging! I haven’t bought it yet but keen to get started. Thanks for replying 🙂
