I used to be on this forum yeaaars ago, then just stopped using it for some reason. I have PTSD, depression and anxiety, and my weight has just gone up and up since the pandemic. I know I can lose it as I have done it before, but it would be amazing to get back to a good weight before my sister’s wedding in September.
Any words or wisdom/encouragement/motivation would be amazing ❤️

Sounds like your sister's wedding is good motivation, and I'm sure you have other motives for getting to a healthy weight. Some members like to put that down in writing as a reminder, when things get tough: maybe that would help you keep focused.
You'll need a plan to work with, something you can see yourself sticking with long term- for life, even, so the weight stays off once you've seen it off. You'll get plenty of ideas by joining in with the daily diary; there's another food-based post, Springers Specials, that you might like; and the weigh-in is a great source of support. You'll find them, along with all our other activities and clubs, by following this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... to Pinned Posts - do scroll through them all so you know what's on offer.
Meanwhile, you might find this gives you a different approach fatismyfriend.co.uk/ It has a sample weekly meal plan.

It is great to have a goal and you have given yourself a realistic timescale to make a difference. Have you anything to do apart from just thinking about food? I found being out of the house kept me away from the cupboard . Are you better around people ? I am thinking group walking where chatting as you are walking may coax you to walk further and encourage you to walk as people are looking forward to you being there. I don't like walking alone but going somewhere with a purpose like the library - pick up some good motivational reading plus I like a few recipe books . Plan your meals. Is your sister planning on this too as you could do this together. She must be so proud of you as despite what you are clearly going through you are making such an effort.
