Hi, I am a newbie to this forum - hello to you all - I am looking forward to being inspired by everyone's success and hope that I can provide some words of encouragement along the way!
I haven't started my journey yet, a weeks time is best for me to start, once the children have gone back to school!
I would like to invest in a watch to track my exercise & general health, hoping it will motivate me to increase how much I move (or not as the case is)
I don't need an all singing watch. Has anyone used one that they have found to do just the trick!
Thanks!

Hi GreenBamboo and welcome to this amazing forum. I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way around. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads. If you’re using another device I strongly suggest that you use the web page as opposed to the app at least until you know your way around.
There are all sorts of watches out there. I was lucky enough to be handed down a TomTom sports watch which i love but don't utilise to it's full extent. I'm sure others will come and reply with what they use 😊
Have a good read of the pinned post “Welcome Newbies” and follow every thread.
I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in when you start. You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Also, sharing your daily menu not only helps you stay committed, it can help other members too.
If you look in Topics, you'll see one headed Apps and Trackers where there are several posts with queries, comments and suggestions. This is how you find Topics healthunlocked.com/weight-l...
Hello and welcome. I haven't bought one at the beginning, but later on I bought a set of body analysing scales and a watch from FitTrack. I am happy with them and use them all the time. However, I think there would be a way to start tracking this without any investment by using your smart phone - there are various apps available and many phones also have a built in way to track Health. Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
