Hi after being at a constant weight of below 85 kg , the weight i like to maintain at following losing weight from 118 kg few years back, back in April i lost the motivation with my eating habits and exercise of gym and walking

Over a 6 week period my weight went from under 85kg to at my heaviest 92kg. I decided then that i wasn’t happy with my appearance as felt fat in the face and feeling sluggish when playing tennis.

I set my self a goal and of wanting to get back under 85kg by mid July 6 weeks. Ive increased my exercise levels and kept to my calories controlled diet and the weight has been coming off as planned.

Today I weighed in at 84.9 kg a loss of 6 kg in 3 weeks.

Feeling so much better in myself my energy levels have increased and actually find i don’t feel hungry all the time.

Will continue with my diet until end of next week then increase calories.

Such a great feeling when achieving something set out too do.

Hi Tall1732,

that's fantastic and well done on getting on top of your weight gain so quickly 😀

Sounds like you have a good plan going forward and are near the point where I am, increasing calories to maintain your weight. From previous experience I would say give and diet change a couple of weeks as it takes a while to see what effect the change has had. I think the main reason is because you need to balance the increase of food transiting your system vs gaining / losing fat or muscle.

All the best and after getting back down to your target weight so quickly, I'm sure you'll have no problem sorting out maintaining it 👍
