I haven’t changed how I eat?? Not sure how I thought I would shift some unwanted fat!!

I just realised I haven’t changed what I consume or how much I consume. I am getting organised for the next four days. I did a four day food prep, chill beans, fried quinoa with veg and grilled Tofu. Plus green juice and beetroot juice. Guess what I’m too tired to eat🙈

Yes, you'll need to change what you eat if you want to lose weight. I hope you'll be having filling, satisfying meals or it's unlikely you will stick with it. You'll find ideas and support in the Daily Diary so head over there with your meal plan for Sunday

Thank you BridgeGirl,

I have seen some lovely, low cal tasty meals that I will incorporate into my meals.

Very impressed with the prep. When you don't feel too tired, try to prep a couple of meals together and freeze. That way when you don't feel up to cooking you are less tempted to grab something unhealthy.

🤦‍♀️You probably totally know that...

Best of luck.

I didn’t freeze them, do you mean always have a healthy meal ready to go when I’m hungry

This is how I play it too. I joke with myself that I live off left-overs, but it's great! I often get carried away when I am in a good mood cooking... I'll add a bit of this, and a bit of that, and before I know it I've got way more than I need. But its no problem, there is enough for the meal today, another tomorrow and a portion for the freezer. Then, when cupboards are looking a little bare (or just plain boring) I can defrost the third portion for a meal, and that usually saves me from relying on a cheese sandwich to keep me going when I am short of time. Because cheese sandwiches are best eaten with crisps. And plenty of cheese. And none of that is filling, so, why not have some cake afterwards...? Haha!

Whatever your plan is, it helps to know what your aims are. Dont fall into a cheese sandwich! You sound very positive, so I hope you have a great week ahead x

Hey Nilsam

That’s so true, I went to the fridge in my zombie way and had a slice of cooked tofu which satisfied me.

Well done...that's really good. Yes, we try to have the odd frozen healthy meal or even a jar of vegan pesto...which makes a very satifying meal with Edamami pasta. 👍🏻
