Evening all! I mentioned I was having an “around-the-world” week for dinners where I try out new cuisines and cultures. A few people were very interested in this & asked if I could show some pictures, and after figuring out how to post pictures, here we go!
(This is the second post) We have beef bulgogi for dinner tonight which is a very popular Korean dish. Should anyone be interested in the recipe, I am happy to share.

1. cut beef ribeye into thin slices (place in the fridge for 30 minutes for a more precise cut) and marinate in a bowl with soy sauce, fish sauce, salt, black pepper, chilli powder, sesame oil, ginger & garlic for 30 minutes to an hour.
2. lightly fry sliced green onions in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes. these shouldn’t be too soft as we want some texture.
3. add in the marinaded beef to the pan. it’ll take about 4 minutes to fully cook the beef through.
4. i served with (microwave) rice, kimchi and lettuce wraps. sprinkle on sesame seeds and voila!
main ingredients: ribeye steak, green onions, rice (or any alternative), lettuce
marinade ingredients: fish sauce, soy sauce, salt, black pepper, chilli powder, sesame oil, ginger & garlic
Ooh, you should try making Paneer or Chicken Tikki masala. Vegetable biryani or Chana Masala with naan is also really good. Ooh, also Pho is really popular where I am from.
