Is it always sandwiches? Maybe try cereal? Have smaller, more frequent meals. I've stocked up on soup which helps fill me up and quick to eat. Also I would recommend drinking lots of water and ensuring lots of sleep. For exercise I am just doing stretches as I am very unfit and haven't done proper exercise for years.
Yes for breakfast I include lot of sandwiches in and I think I am gonna take your advice on this and change a bit in the breakfast to make sure I get better meal, thanks again I appreciate it
Hello, JTKL, and welcome to the forum If you've been browsing, you'll know it's a great place for information and support.
If you're committed to losing weight, permanently, and having a healthy lifestyle, you'll need to be prepared to make changes. My observation is that you'll do better by building your meals around vegetables and cutting down on the sandwiches and rice. Fill your plate with veg, particularly green, leafy veg, add some protein of your choice plus some healthy fats, to keep you feeling full and satisfied. Home cooking is the way to go, so it's good that you're not into fast food.
You'll find all you need to know about the forum by following this link healthunlocked.com/weight-l... to Pinned Posts. I recommend the Daily Diary as that will give you an idea of the different plans members follow: they will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You'll also get great team support by joining a weekly weigh in on the day of your choice.
Hi BridgeGirlThank you for your reply I appreciate it and I will make sure to look to the links you posted and yes I want to make a change my problem in the last 10 years I try then I stop and give up but as you grow and think about the future you start to ask yourself if you dont make a change regarding your weight it could be one of the reasons to be in a scary situation regarding health issues as well as your looking thats why I asked what is the best way to lose weight because my situation is not getting any better but I lke what you mentioned I think I will join a weekly weigh as with the a support achieving the goal will be easier and much more fun, thanks again
You are young and that's definitely in your favour. If you make the changes now, you won't still be here in several decades, like many of us who spent those years dieting and getting nowhere
Hello J1234 you should find this a great place to start and get support. The thing that has made a real difference for me is cutting down on Carbs, I've never followed a plan in my life till last year and I have lost over 1.5 st. I know do a Low Carb Hight Fat diet and I'd recommend diet Docotor for some good recipes. I find that getting lots of flavour in my food helps too. I rarely eat potatoes, rice, pasta, or bread and this has made a huge difference. Look forward to following your journey. I weigh in on a Sunday.
