Hi I have never quite worked out how to use all the sights on here as I have heart failure, atrial fibliration permanent and need to lose weight. I have lost weight in the past and kept it off fir a number of years until I retired then became ill. I have went up in weight thus last year and where I was a comfortable 13st before I am now 15st 7lb. I have been calorie counting for weeks now and came down from 15st 11lbs to my current weight about two weeks ago. My weight has not moved in the last fortnight even though there has been very few days I have been near my 1500 calories.
Could this be medication I take bisoprolol, digoxin, warfarin, linsoprolol and bumetanide. Any ideas. Lodi g weight would be vastly beneficial to my health . Xx

Hi purpleswimmer and welcome back to the Weight loss forum.
When I 1st joined I spent a whole day following every link i the "Newbie Pack" .I suggest you do the same. Use the web site as opposed to the App. It all becomes clearer the more you "play" with it.
Regarding your meds. I'm afraid this is a peer to peer forum. We support each other during our weight loss journeys but as we have no medical qualifications we can't advise you there.
Here's something for you to read which may help you to lose weight again.
Tim spector is useful in regards to calories. You can find him on youtube and he's writen a few books. One of the top scientists in this country. Basically, forget calories but I'll let you research and decide for yourself. Basically avoid processed food and stick to real food. Easier said than done in todays world.
Just to endorse this - I've just finished reading his book 'Spoon-Fed' which really is excellent and easy & quick to read - top tips - vary your diet, get regular exercise, go without breakfast one or two days a week, same with alcohol
Hi. 99% of my meals cooked from scratch. Very little processed food or takeaways. I have fruit for breakfast most days and a very light lunch then a decent evening meal. Sticking to between 1200 and 1500 calories a day. Xx
You said you haven't lost weight for a couple of weeks and I doubt it is the drugs you mentioned. Fruit can be surprisingly sugary with a banana having 6 spoons of sugar. Bread has alot of sugar too. Hidden sugar is likely the culprit.
