How can I loose weight to control my BMI?
I would start by congratulating you on your healthy BMI of 23.5 (well within the 'healthy BMI' zone).
I would have thought there are many ways to reduce weight a little further. You could do some gentle calorie counting, reduce carbs a little, up the exercise a little. Small adjustments should do the job.
May I ask why you are tempted by a '20 BMI'? As that's below even the mid-point of a healthy BMI (21.7).
😄
Hello and welcome to the Weigh Loss Forum souda
You don’t say why you ‘have’ to lose weight, and please remember your BMI is only one guide to how healthy you are. What you eat and other lifestyle choices are also important. 😊
If you haven’t already then please read the Welcome Message in Pinned Posts here healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... Please read it carefully so you can find all the information you need to find your way around the forum.
As a peer to peer support group we rely totally upon mutual encouragement. Nothing beats joining in, reading posts and replying to others. Our Group Weigh-in and the Daily Diary are probably the best places to start
Best wishes
I’ve walked on average once or twice a day for up to 30 mins at a time, can’t get to 10k steps a day yet but getting there. With my better eating I’ve lost a stone in a few months. Was in a bad way before lockdown
