Week 2 slip up!

Ive been sticking to my 1,900cal per day but last night i messed up. I decided to put some chicken nuggets in the oven ready for lunch the next day and ended up eating the lot with some Nando’s hot sauce in front of the TV!

I’m sure it wont matter and I’ll be back on track today. Lost 4kg so far. Starting weight 98kg. Target 73kg

Honestly, we've all been there, so please don't beat yourself up! A few chicken nuggets don't sound like the worst thing in the world to eat, just draw a line and keep going. It's what you do most of the time that makes a difference.

To be honest in the years I have been dieting I often find it's perfectly ok to have the occasional treat and then just resume the healthier eating again the next day or whatever, and it doesn't do too much harm in the long run.

Be kind to yourself!

Hello ID23 , Welcome to this amazing forum. I suggest you spend some time clicking about to find your way around. It's easier if you have a lap-top as there are several threads. If you’re using another device I strongly suggest that you use the web page as opposed to the app at least until you know your way around.

Have a good read of the pinned post “Welcome Newbies” and follow every thread.

Here’s the link to the pinned posts, healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

You will find todays weigh in there. Just reply to your host H61g

Here’s the link for the “Tour” of the forum. If you haven’t already taken it.

I strongly suggest you read and contribute to the Daily Diary and participate in a Weekly Weigh in.

You will find there's loads of tips about better eating, from other members. Sharing your daily menu not only helps you stay committed, it can help other members too.

Good luck I hope to "see " you around. Xx

Maybe ask yourself what led to losing control? The biggest issue many of us face is either not eating enough, or eating the wrong foods, mostly sugar or carbohydrates, that trigger the cravings

Have a look at this healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... for more information on what foods to avoid

Don't worry it happens. Just don't get into the mentality of "oh ive had something I shouldn't have so may as well right off the entire weekend and start again on Monday" (or maybe it's just me who's had this mad thought before?🤣

It's just one meal, you'l be fine 😊

It’t not just you! I think it started because I went about 100 cal over on the day before and so I thought if cheated yesterday, I can cheat today... I was planning to just try one and then it ended badly! 🤔
