This is me on my 2nd week. I lost 1.5lb on my first week, which is good considering I have thyroid problems.
I have been going on the tread mill and have worked up to a 15 min jog without stopping and ran 1 mile. This was my milestone and I cracked it. Not bad for an old fat bird 😀
The C25K really does work. I started it in October last year. I joined a group and have now made a load of new friends. We all go out running together. The support we give each other is amazing.
We are all up to running 5 miles now (8K) without stopping and including hills.
well done hun, running has always been something I've been crap at, but so many peeps on here have cracked it, it makes me want to try again.
your loss is fab! I'm on week 3, with 2lb and 1lb losses so far, but after reading posts of those who've had similar losses weekly over 6 months, they are stones down, again its so inspiring.

Hi Fussybird, I still need to build my confidence to run outside. It's taking me ages to run 1 mile but do feel better for it. My weight loss is slow I put on 1.6lb this morning and been really good. But hey I'm feeling great and look healthier. So I'm still winning 😊 Good luck x
