Weight loss app

I have been using the Nutra Check app! It’s fantastic and I have lot 9lbs over the last 4 week. Tried WW and SW and didn’t want to keep paying their prices. This is a free app and even has the bar code scanner.

I am is getting used to the calories and I’m learning a lot ! I know now I can do this!

Hi Hidden and welcome to the weight loss forum.. May I suggest that you follow all the links you've been sent in your welcome package It's best to use the website as opposed to the app.

I hope you join the Daily Diary, there's lots of delicious ideas there. When you have decided your “weigh in day”, join one of the weekly weigh ins.

If you are counting calories please run your data through the NHS site, to calculate your BMI and with that obtain your calorie allowance.

I use the My Fitness Pal version ,

myfitnesspal.com

I"m sure it's a similar thing to the version you mention.

It certainly worked for me, I got down to a healthy BMI, I've kept the weight off for over a year, and the nutritional monitoring function has helped me reverse a multi-year trend towards insulin resistance and put me back into the safe zone.

I don't like getting too gushy about specific weight loss solutions,. We all have different genes and different lifestyles, so what works for one person may not work for someone else. But I do believe that these kind of apps address enough universal issues that they're at least worthy of a second look.

My friend uses my fitness pal and they are very similar. I’m finding it really helpful and I am losing so it’s win win for me.
