I agree. I am having so much trouble even losing a few pounds. If you are like me I lose 2 pounds, then gain 1 1/2 back, then lose 2 more and gain 1 1/2 back at the end of a week, after trying, denying, and feeling terrible I may have lost 1 pound, which is a start, but not when I read things like "I lost 29 pounds this week" and they appear to be doing the same thing I am. Maybe with a little support, we can go forward and feel OK about ourselves.

Everyone's Journey is different, just like our metabolisms(people with a fast one tend to loose quickly whereas people with a slow one tend to loss slowly) but with support from each other we can get some good ideas or even people make you feel better when you feel stuck in a rut, do you have a weekly plan of action ?X

I’ve lost 0, 1 or 2lbs every week. Every one of those weights is a positive as I’m not getting bigger and they all add up to a total of 1st 5lb since the start of lockdown. Every 1lb is a positive step in the right direction. Everyone’s minds and bodies react differently to food and you need to work out what works for you. It’s not a competition against anyone else. Their big loss does not diminish yours. 😀

Hmmmmm, during the beginning of lock down, I picked up 20 or so pounds. I now have lost them, and am back to where I began. I don't feel successful, or defeated. Just blah.

Someone else’s success can be inspiring to some people and totally deflating to others. The forum would not be doing a very good job if a lot of people felt that it’s ok to share success but not ok to share struggles. There is one thing that we all definitely have in common - we know what it is to struggle with too much weight. Otherwise we would not be here. We might be at different stages of our journeys, but we all started with the need to reduce weight. I’d say a lot of us also know what it is like to gain it back again and again... We are here to support each other and to help each other out as much as we can. All the best! 🤗
