I have realised that although I love reading all the comments on here I feel like it's a bit easy for me to lose motivation as comments are scattered around so nobody really notices if I don't lose any weight from week to week. So I'm asking if anyone wants to buddy up and send messages directly to each other so I know I have to watch my weight. I'm 35 and female and currently weigh 15st 3lb, I'm 5 ft 6 and will be doing wk 4 weigh in on Tuesday. Want to lose at least 2 stone but could lose 5st and still wouldn't be underweight. Trying to do a bit of exercise but have a young son (5 months) so don't go to gym etc. Hope to hear from you soon xx
Anyone want to buddy up and message ea... - Weight Loss Support
Anyone want to buddy up and message each other to keep themselves motivated???

Please watch this programme, "Eat, Fast and Live Longer" vimeo.com/54089463 which spawned the 5:2 Diet. It totally changed my life as I lost three stone and have kept it off since April. There are some amazing success stories on various Facebook groups and the people on those and their success stories are wonderfully motivating. There's one girl on there who has lost over four stone in a year. My daughter has an eight month old and started just before Christmas when she finished breastfeeding and is losing half a stone a month. If you have any questions please ask, but I would urge you to watch the programme - it will change your life.
Just watched it and it does sound good but on the fasting days do you just eat 1 meal or can you spread your 500 calories throughout the day?? X
Whatever suits you best. I don't eat breakfast as I find I'm more hungry if I do, so I'd have a bowl of home-made soup at lunchtime and then an evening meal. There's an excellent book by Kate Harrison called The 5:2 Diet that is available on Kindle very cheaply. Here's a little video that tells you more too youtu.be/W9Aj6hRYg4A

Hi there,
I'd like to buddy up! Erm, never really done anything like this before. I'm 22, female and would like to loose some weight- have tried on my own for like 5 years- with no success! This is my week one!

Hi Jazz, I'd like to buddy up for some motivation if you want? I'm also 22 and am going to start week 1 tomorrow. I think having someone to keep track of how you're doing would be helpful or else I'd probably give up!
I think if you click on the name you can start a conversation through messages, can add other people too so you can all help each other in 1 conversation, do you fancy doing that? X
Hi
I would like to join up to on the buddying up. Starting tomorrow so having others sharing experiences good and bad would be motivational along the way.... Need to do this for good. Don't want to be yo-yoing. Need something I can stick to forever!!

Hi there, I would be happy to "buddy up" with you. Losing 5st is my target too, I have been dieting for 12 weeks and have gone from 16st 3lbs to 12st 11lbs and I'm aiming for 11st. Like you I feel I would benefit from the buddy system and a little extra encouragement is always a good thing. If you have'nt been inundated with offers please feel free to count me in. Kind regards Anthony
