Where is the food diary?

Hi,

Just re-logged in after 2 years! No, I didn't lose weight after my 60th birthday (I will be 62 tomorrow), mainly because I was getting physically worse and then had my hip replacement. In the meantime had several chronic gall bladder attacks and then had gall bladder removed just over a year ago. So I am back, probably a stone heavier than when I first joined. My question is i can't find where I'm supposed to record my food intake as I have it only where I put a daily total. I've downloaded the app as well, something I couldn't last time! P.S. In a mad moment I signed up for WW 6 weeks ago and lost a whole pound. They won't let me cancel until the end of December but I'm not getting on with their plan.

Hello and welcome back Janeat60,

I have given you a re-start badge and as things have changed here a lot in the past 2 years, I will give you our newbie welcome and then you will be able to find your way around again.

I think that is despicable of WW, I really don't see that they can hold you to making payments for the next 5 months. I'm afraid if it was me, I would take it up with their head office, or just cancel your payment plan to them 😡

We are a friendly bunch who are here almost 24/7 and cost you nothing, all we ask in return is that you join in :)

If you haven't already, please take the time to read the Welcome Newbie post, this will help you to navigate the forum, which is best done using the full website and not the app.

Please also take a look at all of the Challenges, Clubs and Events that we have, to help to keep you motivated and engaged with the forum.

The above link will take you to all the information you need. Participation is key to success and I would recommend that you at least join the Daily Diary, (you will find the link in pinned posts) and a Weigh In day of your choice.

As a peer to peer support group, we all benefit from encouragement and support from one another, so look forward to seeing you join in around the forum :)

If you haven’t already taken it, here is a link to a tour of the forum,

Wishing you the best of luck on your weight loss journey :)

Thank you for your reply and thanks for the re-start badge. I shall have a look at your links and join the Daily Diary. I think I manage better on the website rather than apps in general! I'm really grateful that the forum is still here and that I can get back on track. I hated weight watchers and had no support whatsoever, even when I enquired about cancelling all I got was stuff on how to keep going. Anyway - Good to be Back !!!! But I will be eating birthday cake this week whatever!!! :)

Ooh I missed that bit, Happy Birthday for tomorrow and enjoy a slice of cake. Hopefully there will be enough people to help you finish it, if not send it home with somebody or cut into slices and freeze :)

You will receive lots of support here. Why not take yourself along to the WI as well, I am sure that TheTabbyCat would be very pleased to welcome you there and you will then get to know a group of people :)
