Have a look at the Daily Diary. And Recipes in Topics.

If you're calorie counting, have you found the right range for you from the NHS BMI calculator? It's best to eat enough so a) you don't give up quickly, which you say you've done before and b) you don't slow your metabolism drastically

Just to repeat what Diane2 and BridgeGirl are saying, eating enough is vital.

If you are following the NHS 12 Week plan then the 1400 calorie target suggested is a just generic amount, please check your own personal calorie target using the BMI checker, it’s often higher than you think. We always advise starting towards the top of the range, being hungry is the biggest cause of weight loss failure.

Hi Greta - a great big salad. I shred red cabbage in mine and have with grated carrot, chopped red peppers, cucumber, tomato etc. I drain a small tin of anchovies, soak them in water to get some of the salt out of them, chop them up and scatter them in. I eat the whole thing with a spoon.

You will have to weigh your ingredients and use the NH S calorie calculator as you go along, to work it out exactly.
