My first would be to eat well, real food, home cooked, avoid processed food and that includes anything labelled low fat or light or diet - all highly processed. My second tip would be to treat yourself to 15-20 minutes on the forum each day, to read, chat and encourage others, keeping an open mind as you may find different views about what constitutes "healthy eating".Finally, I'd say think of this in terms of making changes for life, rather than 6 months

The best tip is to settle in and read past posts, threads and tips that are relevant. Pretty much every tip you can imagine is bulging in this forum's electronic recesses.
