Two steps forward, one step back.

After my weekly weigh in I discovered that I have gained 1.4kg from last week. This is not very surprising considering that I've gone over my caloric limit three times this week by up to 500kcal to 1300kcal as a result of unplanned meals and snacks, however I didn't change my exercise pattern of 2 one hour sessions and one 45 minute session at the gym, and some aerobic exercises. Although this is a drawback from my goal, however I'm not willing to sulk and it is neither time to feel downcast but time to work harder and be more conscious of what I'm eating.

Sometimes weekly results aren't what we think ,we try hard and don't lose weight.other times we gain when we have done all what we thought is right.

I hope you have a better week ahead.

You won't be alone .

Hi there, I too have "circled back" and re-gained some weight! I'm returning to use if the Daily Diary pages on here to help with planning and being more aware of what I'm eating. Might be worth you having a look? You'll find todays Daily Diary under Pinned Posts or Events and here's the site guide to help you find those....

Monday's Daily Diary will be appearing later on today but Sunday's is still open if you want to have a look at what it's like

Ok so you need to eat 7000 calories to make up a kilogram of fat - did you really blow your diet that much?? I expect you are just retaining water. Allow yourself to be human & that your body’s weight ebbs and flows for reasons that are not fat related. I put on 2.5kg from Thursday to Friday with no change to my diet. I’d lost it this morning.

I do hope this is the case
