I too am lucky enough to have retired to Devon....not that you can see much today as it is very misty!
Using the bike is a great idea...my daughter has lost a lot of weight through taking up cycling. It not only exercises your muscles, it also puts some distance between you and the food!
Well done on a good start to your weight loss...keep going, you will really feel the benefits.

I have had a hell of an appetite today and I know if I wasn’t on this forum making contact with people like yourself instead of filling up on veg and fruit I know I would of ate all those calorie filled foods that I shouldn’t so yaaaaaay ! One day at a time

Good luck with the bike ride. I wish I could do it, but have a problem down under which makes riding a bike (or sitting too long) very painful. lol

Hi, I am trying the Lchf diet but have not been very well this week so have ate a bit more carb then normal but will still try and keep eating plan healthy but need to get rid of this terrible cold though! 😳🤣
Is that like the keto diet? I tried a basic low carb diet cutting out most carbs and not eating processed food or processed meats, and no low fat or no fat stuff. I lost 2 stone and reversed the diabetese. I'm now borderline, but that's because I have been naughty over christmas eating chocs and sweeties and pastries etc. It's not too bad when you get used to it, and you don't have to exercise which is a bonus, cos my hips are agony if I walk too far. lol
