Love Aldi - let us know what itβs like! Great find btw x
Hi JoGetsFit. I have used it before I got mine in a heath shop. I expect it was a lot dearer there. π
It's amazing what you find in Aldi!! π
My nearest is a bus ride away. Which is a bit difficult for me. In the summer one is going to be opened just over the road from me. I will be a happy bunny when it does open. π
Great news!! I hope it makes shopping quick, easy and perhaps a bit cheaper. ππ₯¦π₯¬π₯
Ooooh ! Good find, thanks for sharing ! x
how much is it and what is the food weight (value for money?)
It was on offer and works out about 80p per portion π.. Of course depends on your portion size. Mines generous π
Hi I'm gluten free and my daughter's vegetarian so this would suit both of us.
I'm not an adventurous nor brilliant cook, so would like to ask what you would eat with it.
Any suggestions?
Hi π
I'm going to make a spicy bean chilli with lots of vegetables.
Or perhaps just fold in some pesto and peas.
I'm fairly experimental in the kitchen π
I've been and got some, going to try it tonight! x
Woohoo, brilliant x
There was two other kinds too, going to try a bit of all 3 to see which one I like best, thanks ! x
Black spaghetti. That would mess with my head... lol
Tasted gorgeous with chicken and garlic and herb philli and took a total of 10mins to prepare, ideal quick tea ! x
I might try it... π£
It was in the middle isles mind, when it's gone its gone ! I'm going back to stock up with some more tomorrow and try it with Bolognese x
I'm on 12 hr shifts for the next three days so won't get chance to do any shopping till Tuesday π
You can use lots of different vegetables as a pasta substitute, shredded cabbage is my favourite, yummy with carbonara sauce π
I have so much to learn lol
Go for it Tessa π
100% Organic black beans. Nothing else added. π
I'd love to be on a raw unprocessed plant based diet but sometimes need some else to cook it for me π
Worth knowing the health benefits of black beans include the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and a reduced risk of certain types of cancer. Black beans can also aid in digestion and the regulation of the bodyβs blood sugar levels. Black beans can be beneficial for various nervous system functions, can reduce the chances of birth defects, neutralize the negative effects of sulfites, and even prevent impotence in men. π€£π
βunprocessed plant based dietβ sounds good but not sure Iβd cope with the uncooked bit. All the healthy diets recommend lots of unprocessed plants π
Id be wary of going vegan, there are some essential nutrients that are hard to get. The Vegan Society is a good resource
Yes, sorry I was responding to a person who seemed critical of processed food.
