Maybe look at it this way... In terms of your health, the more you put yourself first, the better position you're going to be (physically and mentally) to help others.
Allow yourself some 'me time' and try to come to this forum regularly. At first maybe just to read the posts and replies but when you can, use the weekly Weigh-Ins and the Daily Diaries.

Life gets in the way doesn't it. I find always having something handy and ready to eat ,that I enjoy, is needed for moments of low sugar or low mood. Homemade veggie soup always in the fridge seems to help me. Good luck
Apparently some chinese geezer said that all journeys start with one step, didn't know him myself but I know a russian who claims it too. You've taken the first step, it gets easier every day you try so just keep trying.
