Bye bye fat-to-go charts!

The picture was my chart I kept in my kitchen to keep track of and give motivation for my weight loss! My version of a marble in a jar visual chart! On the fat-to-go section I used to add 14 pieces of paper representing 14lbs, or a one stone goal at a time.

Now I have reached my goal I am going to make a new chart! This one is going to be a traffic light system. Between 9st and 9-4 will be green light and I can have my full weekly calorie limits!

Between 9st 4 and 9stone 6 will be Amber! And I will add a fast day of just 900 calories one day of the week to hopefully quickly get back to my green zone lol. Over 9st 6lbs will be red - back to over weight and I will revert to the calorie plans I've been using up until now and one fast day.

I also set myself the challenge of keeping within my maintain range for a year! So this day next year will be my anniversary of this challenge! I just need to think up some rewards now! Perhaps a monthly reward if I stay under 9st 6lbs for the whole month! :)

Well done CrimsonMama that is a great achievement - and an excellent strategy to get there! I also like you new plan for maintaining, very sensible because when we reach our goal it can be easy to relax and slip back into old ways. I am having difficulty staying within my ‘ideal’ range (although I am still a healthy BMI), so if you don’t mind I will pinch your strategy if it’s ok with you? Even our weight range is identical so should work well for me. XXX

Congratulations, CrimsonMama ... I hope to see you tomorrow in the Maintainers' forum!

I am 15% body fat at 15 stone - so I don't think I will ever be 9 stone!
