This is my new chart in my kitchen!! The little "me" moves up and down so can go into the different zones lol
I have lost six stone in about eleven months and am now beginning my maintaining journey.
For my height I am a healthy bmi at 9stone 6lbs so I intend to keep between 9 stone and 9.6.
Between 9 and 9.3 I will be "in the green" and can (try) to eat my full calorie limit which is 2000 calories on weekends and 1900 weekdays. If I get to 9.4-9.5 then I will be in the amber zone. This means to be mindful and either cut my calories down a bit that week or do a fast day (one day of 900 calories).
9.6 or more is red zone! So I will cut my calories for the week to the amount I use to lose 2lbs and do one fast day.
I may have to tweak my calories later to find the range that keeps me in maintenance. But I like my chart as a quick visual aid to remind me to keep on track and I also intend to give myself a monthly reward for staying in range! Just got to figure out what my first reward is to be??!

I absolutely love the idea of a visual aid like this one. So many of us have let maintenance slowly slip away by not reacting in time. Thanks for sharing
Really love this idea, CrimsonMama ! You could link to it on the Maintaining thread for September?
Have you worked out what your reward will be? Mine have included a pair of plimsolls and a cookery book (Much More Veg by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, so I think it’s allowable!)
Great idea! Treat could be a new piece of clothing or pair of shoes. Or experience, i.e. spa day. Save 1 pound every day, with £30 you can have a massage, etc.
Or you can traffic light the savings, too.
£2 per day in the green zone, £1 in the amber, none in the red.
Ideally, you have £60 to spend on yourself at the end of the month.
I love this CrimsonMama! What a great idea 😍 with all your experience now I can't see that you'll let yourself slide far before you realise! Have you thought of a reward yet? I like the idea of a treat day for you... You've well and truly earned it!x
