In two weeks I went from 12 stone 6lb to 12 stone 3. A loss of 3lbs. Great, I was happy with this loss. The next week I weighed myself on a scale at Boots the chemist. My regular weigh in place. To my horror I had gone up to 12 stone 11lbs a gain of 8lbs...i felt deflated. All day long i kept on wondering how this was possible, given that i had reduced calories and had increased my daily activity.
Ureka moment! On carefully looking at the weight socket which I had read as 12 stone 11lbs o realised it read 12 stone 1lb, I had read the L in lb as 1....I had actually list 2lb.
12 stone equals 168lbs (pounds) for people who do not use imperial measurements.

That would not happen to me, I can not see with out my glasses, and I only weigh myself in private. I have lost nearly 2st and I will try the challenge for Christmas to lose another half stone by then. Good luck, and remember if weight comes off slowly it is more likely to stay off,
