Tonight I had a knock on the door! Opened it expecting some doorstep sales pitch person! But it was a woman who lives on my street whom I didn't recognise or know. Anyhoo she said her husband and herself have been seeing me out walking everyday and noticed what amazing weight loss I've had and she wanted to know how I have done it!
Of course I was very happy to tell her about my exercise and calorie counting regime.
I am totally amazed and flattered to be approached! I know it couldn't have been easy for her to knock!

Thank you for the warm welcome. This is such a lovely forum! I am currently one run short of C25K, and have been focusing on that recently. I have unfortunately put weight on whilst on the programme, so will go back to focusing on healthy eating, but at the moment all my spare energy is concentrated on running.... well, jogging, slowly!
Thank you for the invitation. I hope to take it up soon. As mentioned above I am in the throes of C25K currently, which for me has been a bit all consuming. I've put on some weight during it, which I didn't expect, but maybe that will settle down as I get used to running. I see you've lost 3 stones. That's amazing, and I would love to do that. One thing I know, I'd need the amazing support here to do that!

That’s so lovely I remember when I was feeling despondent about my weight even tho I lost a stone and a bit. My neighbor complimented me and I was so shocked she noticed. 🙂 really brightened up my day x
