Hi everyone. I've been concerned about my weight for as long as I can remember. Looking back at my teens, I had nothing to worry about, I would love to be that weight now. I'm so sick of the endless yoyo dieting. Lose some, give up, gain more. I've joined here to maybe get some motivation and begin to eat healthily all of the time rather than crash diet. I know I need to exercise but I'm so very unfit and lack energy due to long term Tamoxifen ( Breast cancer meds). I'm full of good intentions, I just need the will power to follow through!

Hi and welcome, Purplerockate :)

Realising that dieting doesn't work is the first step towards weight loss success, the second step is rethinking healthy eating ideas and here are some things for you to look at. Ignore the title of the first if it doesn't apply, the contents will healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... and then phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary.

Welcome Purplerockate I'm new here too. This is a really friendly and supportive forum - you're in the right place. I agree - I'd like to eat heathily all (or most!) of the time too, rather than crash diet. I'm sorry to hear you're on breast cancer meds, it sounds like you have had a lot on - be kind to yourself, and I hope your energy returns soon. All the best, Fx
