Hi, I'm new to this. I'm 32 and currently weigh 18st.
I've really struggled with my mental health over the past few years, contributing to me not being very physically active and a poor irregular diet. I also have fibromyalgia which is difficult to manage at times.
I'm in a better place mentally now and would really like to lose some weight, and I'm very determined to do so. I've got 2 brilliant kids that I'd love to be more active with and stay healthier for.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice, especially on where to start, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks

Hi! How old are your kids? I have a 6 year old daughter and a son who turns 1 next month so I totally understand when you say you want to be more active and healthier.
I'm just starting my second week here but it's been fab so far. Hope to see your posts around and about and good luck 😀
Hi I’m new to this too. I’m looking to make some positive changes to my life. Especially for my 4 year old daughter.
I have also struggled with mental health issues over the past 12 months but I’m slowly getting there. If you need some to talk to about your journey I will gladly listen x
Hi Purple - I started trying to lose weight (again) three weeks ago and joined this forum on Saturday. I am a similar weight to you and also 100% doing it to be a healthy mum for my two beautiful children. I want especially to be a good role model for my 10 year old daughter: healthy weight, making relaxed healthy choices about food, and active. Glad to hear your are in a better place and ready to do this! We can do it!! Good luck 🤸🏼♂️
