So far so good I have everything planned and have managed to avoid the vending machine outside my office - need to start thinking about the dreaded Exercise
Day two: So far so good I have... - Weight Loss Support
Day two
Well done missing out the vending machine. I was reading an article last night that said 3 lots of brisk 10 min walking a day was excellent start to exercise
I used to love exercise and attended lots of classes but now my working day is longer or maybe it’s just me getting old - I just can’t motivate myself - I get it in, cook dinner and I’m soo tired my habit has become sit down feet up with a glass of wine #badhabits
Hey! I feel compelled to post after reading 'dreaded exercise'... I used to hate exercise, especially at school, but I shall tell you a secret...
No one ever told me how good exercise makes you feel. Beyond being out of breath or feeling sore, you get a sense of accomplishment, that you achieved what you set out to do. It's a bit of me time, time to myself. There are those happy hormones it creates, and an elevated heart beat wakes you up and gives you a lot of energy. Now I love exercise, like I used to need a sit down at the end of the day. Without it I feel off and weird and cranky and tired.
You will definitely, definitely, 100% start to love exercise, I promise Espeically when you find something that jives with your interests and something you get other benefits out of. I used to run alone and find that's okay, I can listen to a podcast, but it got isolating. Now I exercise in a group setting so I can talk to people, and I can choose whether to be alone or be part of a group, it's great.
Good luck!
