Hello, Hadenoughchesh, and welcome to the forum 😊

Two tips

1. Eat enough. Before you start the 12 week plan, get your calorie range from here and aim for the upper half of that range nhs.uk/live-well/healthy-we...

2. Give yourself a few minutes every day to visit the forum, read posts, join in conversations and support others - it will repay you.

This welcome pack explains how the forum works and how to find your way around healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... Please take your time reading it so you get the best out of your time here.

I would recommend joining a weekly weigh in on the day of your choice.

We also ask that you read this information about internet privacy and security healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Unsure how old your children are but pushing a buggy is great exercise. I hid behind having 5 children in 10 years but you seem to have had an earlier wake up call than me . Try to limit to 3 meals a day or if you snack then plan round your eating plan . If you do the family shop then you can only eat what you buy.

Thank you - that’s a great idea with the food shop! I’m going to try that. Youngest is 15 months x

I used to get in a habit of rewards when my toddlers actually had a nap . Find something to do even if you need a sit down . Maybe join a survey group. I earn about £40 a month doing a few of them . Not much but a top up and keeps me distracted when hubby has football on TV and I could easily have eaten a full cake 🎂.

That’s a cracking idea and could earn a bit of ££ too! What would you reccomend using?

Try Branded Surveys used to be Mintvine , My survey / Emma Morrison . Vindale and if you watch TV - GSK .
