I haven't even eaten that many calories today! Only like 1512. When I can go up to 1700. And I just put back a packet of French fries Worcester sauce crisps as I feel way too full! And it's not the first time recently that I don't feel the need to eat all my planned food?
Is it a sign my tummy is getting smaller? I've lost 4 inches off my waist since I started measuring it in November and currently lost about 38lbs..

Hard to say. Have you checked your calorie allowance lately?
It´s possible that your body no longer needs as many now that you´ve lost so much weight (to which: great work, congratulations!).
Or maybe you´re just being very smart with the foods you do eat, keeping you full on very few calories.
But it´s also possible that your body is not burning as many calories because it thinks there´s a famine on and that´s why you´re feeling less hungry, in which case it might be helpful to eat near the upper limit of your calorie allowance for a couple of days to get things going again.
Yep my calorie limit listed on the NHS BMI site is '1618 to 2143' to lose 1-2lbs per week.
I've been thinking of going to the higher end for a bit. Weekends I tend to have more anyways. But now I get to the evening and am just stuffed! Which is good I guess! Makes a change from feeling hungry and I am mostly still losing 2-3lb a week.
Your right though... I have discovered some newer calorie swaps. Instead of using 100 calories up on Jaffa cakes or crisps I've discovered delicious milk roll as a bread replacement. I can have one slice with 20g half fat cheese and 10g onion grilled for 99 calories and it's so tasty! Or I can have 2 slices of milk roll with a third of less sugar beans for 199 calories.
I think it´s a good idea to eat more calories at least some days of the week. If you´re feeling full already and you don´t want to add unhealthy stuff just to get your calories up a small handful of nuts can be your friend. I always weigh nuts&seeds, by the way, because the calories do add up very quickly.
