Day one nearly complete

Dear All,

Today has gone to plan, everything I have prepared for has worked. I didn't eat biscuits in the office, I ate two pieces of fruit for hunger cravings, I shopped for healthy foods instead of fatty foods, I gave away my last fatty foods, I did some extra walking.

I am now sat waiting for the dinner to cook, maybe I will photograph for you what I am having, as the salad looks impressive.

Also I think I have earnt a £1 to put in the kitty today, somebody suggested yesterday that I put a fund in place for my achievements so I can splash out on something that I want. I have decided to put £1 for every good day I achieve into a pot, this will be a metaphorical pot until I reach £10 then I will get this out the bank and stow it away. I dream of going to Iceland and the Northern lights by cruise so that is about £2000 on a good day for a single person cabin £2000/£1 = 2000 days, 2000 days/352 = 5.68 - 6 years for the cruise this way, it will be a while, perhaps I can put some other cash towards it, perhaps when I reach a goal I could put an extra £100 in, we'll see. slow and sure is the way to good - I better not have too many bad days!

Summary: Good day earnt a £1, hopefully lost lb also!!

All the best

Helen

Well done, onwards and downwards!

Well done - a great start!! What did you have with that salad? I bet it was fantastic!

I had a cheese, leek and red onion plait from linda mc cartney, I had been looking forward to it for some time! It is a little bit high on the calorie side, but I am likely allowed ( I don't calorie count) as I am allowed plenty of calories and I didn't have anything else as well (like potatoes/ dessert) except some pomegranate seeds.
