Sounds like a moral dilemma but adults have a choice to eat them or not.

I have been doing this so long that I don't usually get loads of chocolates. Those that do arrive I am able to ration - so that they are eked out over the weeks and months after Christmas - you may not feel able to resist temptation though!

If unopened, donate them to a food bank. They'll be very grateful for them.

I second Pineapple27 's suggestion to donate to a foodbank.

Or do you know anyone that works in a large office or a school? That way, they get shared out amongst a lot more people.

I agree with Pineapple27 as i donated some unopened surplus things as one of my 12 days of xmas challenge. Made me feel good that:

A - someone else would benefit from something they may not have had otherwise

B - i didnt feel Obliged to eat them

C - i overcame my - its in so ill finish it in one go so theyre not hanging around attitude 🤣

My hubby has a season ticket for our local footie team COYBrewers. I give him a bagful to offer round the guys each game. It works for us 😉
