Hello Kel_B!
You'll get oodles of help and expertise on this forum, and I see that lucigret has already come in with her Wonderful Welcome package of advice and ideas.
Just a little one from Auld Betty here: find yourself an attractive little notebook - one you can carry around with you. Record very honestly what you eat and drink (including water) every day for at least 3 days. Very often we are not quite straight with ourselves about what we are taking in. For instance, I discovered recently that I'm very dehydrated when I thought I was drinking enough water.
Then try to pinpoint the Real Food and Drink Baddies in your life, carb-wise, and start by knocking one or two really bad habits on the head or at least diminishing your intake of those Naughties.
In my experience crash diets of any sort don't work. It's much better to take a slow, organic approach and give yourself months, not weeks, if you can bear to do so, and unless you've been told by a doctor to do this quickly.
Keep reading the many wonderful posts on this forum. Whatever you are struggling with personally someone has Been There Before You, so You Are Not Alone!
Be encouraged and have faith in what you can achieve! We are all with you on this one.

Thank you this is very helpful x
I’ve done nearly every plan going and I always come back to WW and it works. SW I can’t do as carbs are too high and portion sizes as ibs It’s all in the mindset and you have to learn to not comfort eat or eat for enjoyment as foods to fuel tbh.
