I would suggest you join a weigh in, you would have lots of people there to support you and they would appreciate your support in return 🙂

Here is the link for today’s - healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Hi, Princesa_100 , Welcome.

As lucigret says, you will get a lot of support in any of the daily weigh-ins.

(Click on home (house icon), then nine circles, then Weight loss... then scroll down the right side of the screen to "events".)

If you want an individual, you will find someone in the weigh-in that is at the same stage as you.

Are you a serial dieter?

I am one of the few males here, and I have been able to lose weight without any difficulty - so I am not a candidate.

You could trawl through the weigh-ins...

Hi Princesa_100 as lucigret and S11m say this is a wonderful place to be with all the encouragement and support from everyone. Joining a weigh in day is a good thing to do as there everyone is helping and supporting each. I find it really helpful and it helps me keep on track. If I gain or stay the same I get so much encouragement to keep going. Daily Diary is good to get lots of wonderful ideas from people for food plans and recipes. Wishing you all the best on your journey and hope you will join us on ours:)

Hi Princesa I’ve yo yo ‘d for decades, (but have no idea what a weightloss accountability partner is 😀 ) You’ll find plenty of people here to support you, some you won’t even know necessarily if they’re male or female as it’s all anonymous. I realised that after following low fat diets over many years, selecting things like baked potatoes without butter, and baked beans on dry toast, ,”lite” yoghurts etc, I had probably given myself a problem with insulin resistance. Since changing to low carb high fat, I’ve had good success in shifting some weight, without feeling hungry. It was a major change in mind set for me, eating cheese, cream etc, but I’m pleased with result, and found it is possible to exist without eating sandwiches! Good luck with whatever route to weight loss you decide to take.
