Dancing sounds like a very good option. Dance the night away & have fun!

I went to a wedding recently and I left the bread roll that came with the soup, didn’t finish my main and left the cake. Also alternating wine etc. with soft drinks helped cut calories. Alternatively, just count it as a maintenance / cheat day and go to town!

What you do is enjoy it :-)

Do you want this plan to be a forever plan? If so, we need to start treating it like a 'forever plan' starting from now. Will you never drink wine or eat cake every again in your life? If you think that's unsustainable (like I did) then we need to work on having a healthy relationship with these types of foods, where we can eat/drink in moderation with no bingeing! If you want a piece of cake at the wedding, have a piece of cake. If you want a glass of wine, have a glass of wine. One wedding will not make you obese overnight. Will you gain a little bit of weight the next day? Possibly. Will you be able to lose that during the week? Yes.

Life doesn't have to be black and white, it doesn't have to be no wine or cake or going crazy and eating all the cake and drinking all the wine. There's a middle ground and I tell you that since I've found it I feel so happy and free.
