Hi, TheBigGuy , Welcome.
Being hopeful, and looking forward, I chose a more positive username for my self... you do not want to be "The Big Guy" forever?
Have you tried to lose weight before?
If you have never tried to lose weight, and you ignored government advice about low saturated fat and low-calorie foods, losing weight might be easy for you.
My father was a farmer, and lost seven stone in a year... on a farmhouse diet.
Hello. Well, I've joined today too....and I need to lose at least 12 stone too! So, looks like we're on this journey together...lol. Maybe we can 'buddy up' and see how we go. Good luck anyway.
I understand thebigguy about being overwhelmed. I was too until I weighed after being off work for 3 months and saw I only gained 7 pounds instead of the 25+ I thought I had. just keep your mind on a small goal like 1 to 2 pounds a week instead of the 12 stones you see you need to lose. it is much easier to do that than think of it as a total. good luck and chin up!!
Welcome to you thebigguy.
I'm a newbie too.
I look forward to hearing from you and how you're getting on.
