I have hit my 30s fat and it needs to come off. Hate exercising so that is my main challenge. Had no kids, but lots of stress which makes me eat. Typical pear shaped who loves her carbs.
Huge row with husband last year didn't help as he admitted my weight is an issue (that's the polite version). This made me stubborn in the wrong way - a sort of 'if you think I'm too fat for you then tough', sort of attitude. Obviously, that's no help to anyone.
BMI tool suggests I need to lose 2st 1lb, which would make me the lightest I've been since I was at least 16 (it will take me to 9st 13lb at 5'7) I can't ever remember weighing that little as an adult. But that's the advice - so here it goes. If I could get it off before the new year that would be the ideal.
Thanks for letting me ramble.

Hello Lopezos and welcome to the weight loss forum.
It sounds as though you agree that you do have weight to lose, and it's important that you do, rather than just doing it for a possibly insensitive but probably concerned husband.
I would say don't get too hooked on the end figure, just start on making some changes to what you're eating, one step at a time. Seems you know that carbs may be a part of the problem. I have to say when I came here just under a year ago, I was the biggest carb eater there is, at every meal, but, step by step, they've become much less important to me.

I could have almost written that description myself (apart from mine would say 5 stone to lose). I have signed up to here in the hope I can find advice for stress eating and a way to be in a 'diet whilst managing a busy life
